Bangkok based design studio Atelier 2+  has created a furniture collection for Podium. This new 2021-2022 collection is made from oak wood and high-quality leather. They are inspired by oriental style furniture from the different parts of Asia.

Neorient is a furniture collection inspired by Asian craft and Western design. For this collection, we would love to reinterpret old Asian furniture and modern Scandinavian design. We want to represent the different periods and different cultures but somehow share the esthetic of the design. This collection has a timeless element and yet the modern comfort from contemporary design. They have a strong juxtaposition of two different images from eastern and western esthetic and design “  explained by Atelier 2+

The Neorient collection is delicately manufactured between woodcraft and leathercraft. It’s made from high-quality material, techniques and craftsmanship from the traditional way of making furniture. It gives the unique design character, rich texture, elegant and poetic elements to interior space.
